52 Whitmore Road - Advancing Shoreditch Trust’s affordable workspace schemes

Shoreditch Trust is investing in 2 workspace studios a total of 3,000 square feet of space, within this mixed use, timber framed, eco-development overlooking Regent's Canal and 5 minutes walk from Haggerston station on the East London Line.

This scheme is of high quality design with green credentials including a timber framed structure, biodiversity roof and a living wall.

These 2 studio spaces will join the cluster of workspace schemes which Shoreditch Trust has to offer to Small and Medium sized Enterprises in the Creative sector.

Shoreditch Trust is working in partnership with local developers Jason Lowe and Lori de Mori, Shoreditch Architects Waugh Thistleton, structured timber panel suppliers KLH UK Ltd and Shoreditch photographer Dan Tobin Smith to develop this unique scheme.

Work is due to start on site in May 2010, and the studios will be available from winter 2010.  The commercial units will remain a community asset owned by Shoreditch Trust.
