Estate to Plate is an exciting new two year project that will enable local Hackney residents and workers from community groups to learn how to run cooking and growing clubs in their local community.

The project combines:

• Drop-in ‘Grow, Cook ‘n’ Eat’ clubs based on designated estates in Hackney for local residents
• Introductory courses on cooking and growing in the community for residents that want to improve what they’re doing in the kitchen and in the garden
• Accredited courses on cooking and growing for those who want to pursue their topics that little bit further or give something back to their community

Funded by the Big Lottery Fund’s Local Food Fund, Estate to Plate is managed by Shoreditch Trust and delivered in partnership with Get Growing and St Mary’s Secret Garden. Together, our aim is to bring a healthier relationship to food right into the heart of estates in Hackney.
