Shoreditch Trust developed a bursary scheme for local residents. These bursaries will enable residents to gain degrees and achieve professional qualifications across industry strands that align with Shoreditch Trust’s succession strategy and will provide access to key growth sectors.

In total 28 bursaries have been awarded and are active, of these 10 are in catering, 9 in regeneration, 4 in arts and 5 in Olympic based activity. The programme offers local people aspirational training opportunities and the chance to either join the Trusts programme team on completion of their qualification or contribute to sector growth elsewhere.
