Stephanie Monteilh

Peace of Mind Project Manager

Stephanie Monteilh

Stephanie joined the Peace of Mind Team 8 years ago. Her role involves assessing clients 1:1, facilitating workshops, managing staff and sessional staff as well as supervising a pool of volunteers. Stephanie is passionate about supporting people experiencing emotional distress to move on with their lives.

As well as 1:1 sessions, exploring what issues and difficulties people are struggling with, Stephanie and the team offer various workshops covering many areas. One of their most popular courses is based on a Narrative Therapy approach based on the idea that we all make sense of our experiences through the stories we tell about our lives. The courses will help you find your voice and encourage you to bring forward the stories in your lives that are left untold.

Stephanie’s background is in therapeutic counselling. More recently Stephanie completed a post graduate course on mental Health and Wellbeing: Multidisciplinary Practice with Young People and Adults at the Tavistock and Portman centre, allowing Stephanie to develop and enhance her practice.

In her spare time, Stephanie enjoys being creative and making jewellery out of modelling clay as well as cycling, which she describes as the very best tool to keep her well and balanced.
