Shoreditch Trust is recruiting on a rolling basis for Health and Wellbeing Coaches to work with Primary Care Network teams in City & Hackney.

Using 1-2-1 consultation, group and peer support, Health & Wellbeing Coaches help people to set and achieve their health and wellbeing goals and increase their confidence to manage health conditions. The role requires skills in personalised support, case management, group facilitation and multidisciplinary working.
You should be passionate about supporting people from a wide range of backgrounds to improve their health and wellbeing, in a way which is non-judgmental and recognises the whole person and their needs. You will have the ability to forge strong links with community groups, voluntary organisations and wider statutory services and an ability to support people to engage with their community resources.
To continue being fully representative of our Neighbourhoods, we are particularly keen to hear from people from diverse communities, from bilingual candidates and from people with strong links to East London generally.

This varied volunteer role will enable individuals to gain practical Office Administrative experience within a successful local charity. It offers an excellent starting point for someone interested in pursuing a career in Office Administration / management.
To support the coming together of pregnant women, mums and babies at a coffee morning. Ensuring a welcome and an enjoyable stay at the coffee morning. We welcome volunteers with a positive, lively, creative and caring attitude who have an interest in helping support women and families.
Support Bump Buddies administration, by helping to co-ordinate staff diaries and booking appointments, communicating with clients and professionals and maintaining spreadsheets.
We welcome volunteers with a positive, lively, creative and caring attitude who have an interest in bringing together and supporting others, especially around the theme of (preparing and) sharing food. Under our Community Table programme we offer the following volunteering opportunities. Volunteers are welcome to apply for either or both of these.
Make a difference in the lives of stroke survivors and gain valuable experience in the process. We run a range of different groups and volunteers can be allocated to one or more groups according to their area of interest, eg. high care groups, self-help group, group for younger stroke survivors (18-65yo), Talk Stroke group for people with communication difficulties, stroke forum, and more.
Make a difference in the lives of local people and gain valuable skills and experience in the process. Under our Advice programme we offer the following volunteering opportunity. During and after our Bump Buddies group (for local mothers) slots to meet with staff and trained volunteers to receive support around advice, from financial/ income maximisation to practical resources. The volunteer will support clients with paperwork and research around this.
We are looking for a volunteer interested in supporting the running of our group sessions for stroke survivors. As a volunteer you will ideally be available for 1 regular weekly group sessions slot.
We currently provide 4 face to face group sessions for stroke survivors every week, with one session being attended by members via Zoom as well. Sessions last up to 2 hours at a time.
The groups bring together stroke survivors living in Hackney or the City. Each group has a different support focus: stroke survivors with communication difficulties; younger stroke survivors; stroke survivors who are practising with more independence; stroke survivors with care needs.
