Under Jacqui's leadership, the Trust has grown from its origins as a government-funded initiative into an independent anchor organisation delivering holistic, person‑centred support grounded in peer networks, community leadership, and long-term relationships.
Jacqui began her career in the voluntary sector with a focus on regeneration, championing community‑led development and ensuring residents had real influence over local decisions. She has worked across public, education, charity, and cultural sectors, consistently advocating for inclusive growth, protection of community assets, and stronger recognition of social value in policy and practice.
A trained facilitator and educator, Jacqui brings a commitment to learning, reflective practice, and research into every aspect of the Trust’s work, embedding personal and organisational development as core to effective social change.
Alongside her role at Shoreditch Trust, Jacqui serves as an elected Member of the City of London. Alongside Committee duties, she particularly values resident casework, which enables her to build meaningful connections with local people and offer direct support where it’s needed.
