Jane has worked with children and families in Hackney for over 30 years. Whilst working in early years education and the establishment of Sure Start, she developed an interest in the services that were available to children and families before they start at nursery school. All of Jane’s community work and training has led her to appreciate the importance that healthy pregnancy and early motherhood have on the development and achievements of families. Working on the Trust’s Women and Children programme has seen Jane’s training, skills and interest amalgamate in a meaningful, productive way.
Over the years Jane has volunteered in her local community in Hackney in roles such as Trustee, School Governor and User Groups.
